The new CEDAR Systems (Patent Pending) Model: CS-195 / CRB has been engineered with maximum safety, production and efficiency in mind along with minimum operator fatigue and delay, as well as minimum thread and binding waste.

This revolutionary machine is a chain stitch and has a top walking presser foot that walks just behind the needle and is independently adjustable from the lower feed mechanism.  It can obtain maximum binding over feed with as few as 4 stitches per inch with a maximum speed of 3,500 stitches per minute.

The CEDAR Systems CS-195 / CRB standard equipment is:

1) Automatic built in Under-Bed Thread Trimmer so the operator no longer needs to cut the thread before the disposal of the sewn piece.

2) Automatic Stitch Condensing feature to help prevent raveling stitches at the end of the seam (this feature can be turned on or off as needed).

3) Manually controlled built in High Step Feature to accommodate thick and thin fabrics.

4) Automatic front mounted - Electronically Controlled Metering Device to allow for consistency in the case of needed over fed binding.

5) Automatic pneumatically controlled Cut and Re-insert binding folder so the operator no longer needs to cut the binding before the folder then re-insert the binding before sewing the next piece.  All moving parts of this binder are concealed behind protective guards.

6) Independently controlled top and bottom folder air flow (can be turned on or off as needed)

7) Manual knuckle switch to load binding when changing rolls.

8) Manual knuckle switch to cut binding in folder (no scissors needed).

Optional Devices

1) Rear Safety Chopper to cut sewn binding of square corner rugs (helps reduce binding waste).

2) Photocell to automatically activate Rear Safety Chopper.

3) Knuckle switch to manually activate rear safety chopper.

Our CEDAR Systems Automated Device may be installed on most lock stitch machines to accommodate other types of operations.
